Anniversary Love ❤️

How has it been 1 year already?! Happy 1st Anniversary to the lovely Steph & Tom.

I created a bespoke illustration of @dodfordmanor for them both, including a very important family member - Cheddar the dog! We used this illustration on the save the dates as well as the invites. I loved how they recreated this scene on their wedding day.

My desk is currently full of on the day stationery right now… with quite a few weddings coming up! It’s so lovely to see the different florals & a variety of themes that couples create. Have you thought of a theme as such? Loved creating these jockey illustrations a few months back!

After that you will have to wait for our official launch on Thursday 4th June. This photo does give the starting point of one of the designs 🤭

It has been truly magical working with such a strong business like @florallifestylegb

I actually cried happy tears when Jess messaged to say a few of our cushions have sold today first thing today! I am so pleased to know people love the designs as much as we do.

This weekend has been a busy one regarding weddings. I had a few table plans in a line in my hallway during the week, always worrying I handed over the wrong one 😅

Next weekend I will be at my 1st Art Fair of the year! A venue that I haven't been before but I am excited to showcase a few new illustrations. Pop by if you are looking for something to do & support your local artist/crafters.

I was rooting through my old fabrics a few months back & came across a selection of dresses my Mum had made for my business.

Just before lockdown, Mum & I thought it would be a lovely collaboration (& a way of showing my fabrics) with the two of us creating these dresses for little ones. I had metres of my own fabric & Mum is handy on a sewing machine. I put them in my fabric box during Covid & totally forgot about them to be honest... My daughter loves wearing dresses so of course she wanted them in her wardrobe as soon as she saw them in my office!

I am not very good about shouting about my work but this creation is something very special to me. My daughter wanted to wear her dress at a family Christening back in March.

I designed this specific fabric for my Uncle, which was made into groomsmen ties for his wedding day. I named it the 'Moores Floral' which is my maiden name. My mum then used a pattern & created this beautiful classic style dress. It is slightly too big for her but she wasn't fussed - she just loved that Grandma made it & it had pretty flowers on!

A totally unique dress for a very special girl. 🌸

Pencil and watercolours are used on the original artwork created by myself.

All is needed is pictures of the bouquet and words/date if you would like to be included.

My favourite month 🌷

Not just because it is my birthday month but...

The sun is starting to shine a bit brighter, daffodils are dancing in the wind & fresh green shoots are suddenly appearing. The air really just feels different this time of year!

I am so looking forward to having a cup of tea sat in my garden, thinking of what gardening project I will attempt this year!

A few weekends back, I was kindly invited by the lovely team of @huntsmillfarmweddings to join them at their Open Day.

In collaboration with @theflowerstory & @princessoccasions , we dressed the table showcasing how it could look for a wedding breakfast. I, of course created the stationery (menus & place cards) but I also wanted to include my own napkins.

My background is Textiles & it is something I studied many moons ago at Uni. I get so excited about create new prints & I will never get bored of seeing my own watercolour illustrations, printed onto fabrics. I jumped at the chance when I could create a bright, floral napkin to compliment Lizzy’s beautiful florals & Charlottes stylish set up.

I now have 20 napkin squares.. would you want to see them made into a cushion?

I know I am VERY late to the party with this one but I really wanted to share my story & I am finding it hard to get back into Instagram again!

2016 was a very big jump for me - it was the year I went self employed with Anna Jayne Designs. I didn't really have a plan but couldn't keep complaining about my screen printing job to my family without doing something about it!

I had the support from my boyfriend (now husband), rented off my parents & had a dream to make a living from my artwork - so a very different situation than now! At the beginning, I did lots of commissions, pushed my Etsy shop & took part in every craft fair in the Bucks area.

I set up a little studio in my parents back garden which I absolutely loved! It gave me a routine to still to go into work but could have a tea break/catch up with my Mum all through the day.

Looking back at my artwork I can see how my style has developed but of course the florals are still key.

It has been a rollercoaster of a journey but very proud this little business will turn 10 in November ❣ Still working on the life/work balance but it has given me the opportunity to be around for our little girl, meet some fab wedding industry friends & be involved in some incredible collaborations.

Very excited to look back at 2026 at the end of the year!
